Great blog Kim. Something I have noticed lately. That my videos get many more views on metacafe than on youtube. Youtube is still the king of video, but I think metacafe is a close second.

I think online businesses are where its going for many reasons. The primary reason is with so many out of work, and not enough jobs to go around, more and more people are thinking about starting their own business, and even if their business isn’t online, everyone today knows you need some online presence. For those of us that already have a business online, or have a business helping people get online, right now is a good place to be.

Hi Ladies,

I’m looking forward to participating going forward and to receive the guide that I missed back in August. I have had a “brick and mortar” travel agency for almost 22 years. I am trying to expand by marketing more online now too. I feel like I’m all over the place though-no real consistent plan. I will be working on something and then discover something else….there is just SO much out there. Anyway, here’s to the future!

I was just told about this site and immediately ran, well, clicked on over here. I too live in beautiful Montana. I am assistant editor of Long Story Short, http://www.longstoryshort.us, and do all the bookwork (Administration Director), at LSS School of Writing. http://www.lsswritingschool.com Like the two of you, Denise Cassino and I met online and started these ezines in hopes to help others. It’s good to know you felt the same. Though Denise and I have never met, we are best of friends and our personalities and work ethics, really mix well. We have helped many women writer’s, as well as men, to accomplish their writing dreams.

I have many hats and things in the fire. The most recent is having my own editing business and I am enjoying that. I would like to be a bit busier, but I know that will come with getting the word out there. That’s where the marketing comes in.
